The aliens use microwave beams causing an almost instanteous temperature rise in the body to over 500 degC. The skins disintegrates and the blood and other bodily liquids boil. Excrutiatingly painful it has been banned by the Sentient Lifeforms treaty but is still permitted for use against human and other low lifeforms. Those humans found within the alien empires have a status akin to farm animals and are used in meat processing, organ donation and the dairy industry.
