As the mermaid began to talk she enjoyed her conversations with Bill more and more. Sometimes he would stare too intently into her eyes and an awkward silence would follow. She began to realise the nature of their relationship and kissed Bill. A few days later Bill confessed to the full extent of his involvement with her kidnapping. He knew he risked losing her but he had to relieve his guilt. She was disgusted and in the following days would not talk to Bill but instead wandered the seashore, wondering whether to return to the sea. About a week later she forgave Bill and agreed to stay with him forever at the house on the seashore. However this is not quite the end of the story.

Yes it looks like mermaids can be as pretty as fairies.
